Carole & Crew
From tragic situations come positive resolutions, which is exactly what was presented to Carole Adams, founder of The Mosby Foundation on Thursday, April 28th.
"I ASKED GOD FOR LOVE AND PURPOSE.
HE THREW ME TO THE DOGS."
U.S. Senator Mark Warner,
It certainly was "All about the dogs" Thursday, April 28th at Silver Linings, downtown Staunton, VA.
Four rescued dogs (Willy, Sophie, Shadow, and Rain) shared the spotlight as Channel-3 news filmed Virginia Delegate Chris Saxman presenting Carole Adams a commendation for The Mosby Foundation.
FORMER HOMELESS STREET DOG, (ALMOST), MAKES IT BIG!
Adopted from Partners!Canines at The Mosby Foundation's Pet Dog Fest in 2008, this fluffy white unknown mix has overcome his tough start in life and is now a loved pet and talented performance pooch.
In his first year of eligibility, Hunter missed qualifying for the AKC NATIONAL Agility Championship by 12 points - he needed 500, and he ended the qualification period with an oh-so-close 488!
An eager and versatile dog, Hunter has also had success in Rally Obedience, enjoys playing at Canine Nosework, and he works 1 day a month in the Animal Assisted Therapy program at the Augusta Health Medical Center, Fishersville, VA.
Hunter is the canine companion of The Mosby Foundation's Secretary and Board Member, Kathryn Dobyns.
WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU HUNTER!!!!
