We are now accepting new photographs for our 2016 calendar contest!
To submit the photo please mail it to email@example.com along with your dog’s name. Please limit your submission to one picture per dog. We will be accepting photos through the end of June and voting will be the entire month of July. This year we will periodically pick one of the entries and use that photo for a week as our profile picture on our Facebook page. This should be fun!
You can enter another photo this year even if you’ve entered and won a spot in one of our previous calendars.
So…………start taking some great dog pictures!!
Anyone can enter one or two photos even if you have won before. Please remember these have to be photos taken on the highest setting on your camera so they can be enlarged and maintain a clear, sharp image when enlarged. We also prefer photo’s taken holding the camera in a horizontal position, not vertical, because again they can be enlarged to fill the entire calendar page, whereas the vertical photo’s don’t fill the entire page. Photos with some background are also good as we can then crop them ourselves as needed.
We will be accepting photo’s from Jan 1 through June 30th. Beginning July 1st through July 31st we accept votes. The votes are $1.00 per vote and you can vote as many times as you want. In other words $25 can go to one or more dogs depending on how you choose. Please remember, this is a FUN CALENDAR CONTEST AND A WAY FOR US TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP DOGS IN NEED OF NON-ROUTINE MEDICAL CARE! We post the results weekly once the votes begin We don’t list the amount the dog has raised only the position they are in at the end of the week. We feel this alleviates any hurt feelings for dogs that don’t get very many votes. In August we tally the total votes and post which 12 dogs make an individual page. We also try and use as many of the other pictures throughout the calendar as we possibly can. We choose the calendar cover from all the dogs entered. It’s always a surprise and lots of fun!
So please start taking pictures and submitting them!
And remember IT’S ALL ABOUT THE DOGS!!
